Housing Neighborhood Revitalization is
the League’s initiative to help area residents to develop leadership
skills and form neighborhood associations to improve their
neighborhoods. Our professional volunteers provide budget and credit
counseling services to help families and individuals better their
housing situations. Each program serves to educate participants and
help them be successful in handling their housing needs. We also
assist people to develop strategies to correct mortgage
delinquencies, establish working budgets, debt repayment plans, and
prepare prospective renters regarding the ins and outs of becoming
good tenants.
Youth Development The Las Vegas-Clark County Urban
League recognized that it has a growing responsibility in developing
and educating our youth. Many of the youth we serve come from
at-risk backgrounds with various barriers hindering their ability
for a successful future.
