Emergency Food and Shelter Program gets a funding boost

Las Vegas, NV (February 10, 2010) – The Emergency Food and Shelter Program, Local Board for the Clark County Jurisdiction, has awarded the Las Vegas Urban League $51,500 for 2010. The funds will be utilized by two of the League’s programs:

  • The Family Development Program will receive $20,000 for Rental Assistance.
  • The Martin Luther King Senior Center will receive $31,500 for meals served on site and for shelf stable meals to be consumed off site.
