The mission of the Las Vegas Clark County Urban League is to “Empower communities and ensure equal opportunity for Low-Income People”.  The Agency, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, was  founded in 2003 as an affiliate of the National Urban League the premier social service and civil rights organization in the United States of America.

In 2006 the Urban League was designated as the Community Action Agency (CAA) for Clark County.  As the CAA, the Urban League has experienced strong, strategic-driven growth by collaborating with a diverse network of stakeholders to provide quality programs and services.
